  • About a month in all - I could have escalated it a lot sooner though - was a very good job I checked back as I would have expected a notification from PayPal saying that I only had a specific amount of time to escalate, and that that time kicked in the moment I first registered the claim. Where there's no further action on the claimant's part, perhaps if he claimant forgot to escalate the claim within the time limit (16 days I think), the verdict automatically falls in favour of the accused. The claim process is all a bit too "if you really want to follow this through then be our guest, however we're not really going to help you, keep you updated on progress or prompt you to take the next steps in the process (as it's likely to cost us money....)" The process was all somewhat (purposefully I fear) unexplained however I can't complain as the money is refunded and the case found in my favour.
