  • I think simply by a process of elimination:

I would never vote Conservative because I'm not a heartless cunt.
I would never vote UKIP because I'm not a stupid heartless cunt.
I feel that Labour have moved too far to the right since the rise of 'New Labour.'
I can't vote Lib Dem anymore after the last five years if ineffectual moderation.
That leaves the Green Party who actually offer an alternative (and I agree with their policies more than any of the others.)

  • ^This:
(So we have 6 heartless Cnts and a stupid heartless cnt at least 'on here' :)

LFGSS Poll update for the new page:

    Con 6
    Lab 18
    UKIP 1
    Grn 28
    Lib 0
    Other 2

  • I'm guessing at least 3 of them are trolling, and certainly the kipper.

  • Perhaps tho all we have in common on here is that we like riding bikes. Which doesn't necessarily relate to political views

    and certainly the kipper

  • Milliband is actually Thatcher. Interesting piece by Robert Peston.

  • fuck it peston is right.

  • in 30 years i will be calling milliband the worst cunt ever and protesting about his state funeral.

  • damn politicians and their smoke and mirrors

just give us a fucking straight answer you tosspots

What these hard working buy-to-let landlords deserve is another taxpayer funded jolly, quite right old chap.

  • Councils will also be required to sell about 5% of their remaining council stock. These most-valuable properties will only be sold once they became vacant, and once sold, councils will be required to build a more affordable, cheaper property on a one-for-one basis.

So basically "we don't want poor people in rich areas, put them all in their own ghettos where we won't have to see them".

    Heil!

  • What an unbelievably short-sighted, misguided fuck up of a policy. It totally misunderstands the current housing issues facing a large swathe of the population.

Given that the Tories are leading with this they obviously think it's a vote winner. How depressing.

  • according to the home secretary this morning on r.4 they made a promise to build one home for every one they sold, during this reign they sold something like 300,000 homes but only built ..... 2,000
she promised they would put that obligation into law this time .... wonder how that will go

  • Because we have such a surfeit of secure affordable rental properties, I mean so many we don't know what to do with them, so sell them cheap just to get rid of them, even though they were publicly funded in the first place. What doesn't make sense about that? Surely this will totally help the situation?

  • Osborne on the Andrew Marr show on Sunday was telling everyone that you "can't use your vote as a protest vote this time". Actually George, I can use my vote however I like, and I'm not going to be fear-mongered into voting any other way.

He also didn't answer the same question 15 times.

  • I heard this, TM seemed uncomfortable. As one of the more skilled politicians out there she seemed unsure of herself. Like she was struggling to quiet the internal din of "yes, we did fail" repeated over and over again.

TM trying to avoid calling Fallon a dickwad for the attack on Miliband was lols too. I heard the Fallon interview too, he really reminded me of the unimportant, feckless ministers sent out to do the dirty work by Malcolm Tucker in In The Thick Of It. I wonder how he felt about having to embarrass himself in such a way.

  • He's a Tory, it comes naturally.

  • Christmas Number 1?

It's catchy. It's been going through my head ever since I heard it.

The joke is not lost on me.

"What chance have you got against a tie and a crest?"

Pretty sure they tried something like this in Germany and it didn't end too well.

  • Mishal Husain hates UKIP! She's being so rude to the deputy leader and her twaddle, it's great.

  • Even the Torygraph thinks the sell-off of much needed housing is a disaster:

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/conservative/11535234/Extending-the-right-to-buy-is-economically-illiterate-and-morally-wrong.html

Thatcher's a fucking awful role model anyway, but Cameron is doing a shit job of trying to emulate her.

  • agreed, that fuckwit Gove was on the tellybox last night, convincing argument to not vote Tory

  • He has a face you could never get tired of punching.

  • Just realised this happened in the town I grew up in in Northumberland. Fantastic.

  • I work for a major Indian IT house and we have a vested interest in who wins, particularly on their stances on immigration and promoting business. So we have had some advisors in and they reckon a Labour/SNP coalition government as the most likely outcome.
