Yeah I think I brought it up before.
I flipped the C-spring over* and the rocking has gone, which leads me to think it was the c spring. But also the plastic adaptor plate is starting to show signs of wear. I might make up a plate to sit between the adaptor plate and cleat, like the metal one that I see some with.
- I know they're one sided. But only because they've flattened off the edge on the internal bit.

I think the rocking is a known issue - something to do with the pedal compressing (check back a few pages). Seems to happen quite fast to my cleats too. Quite annoying.
You'll see a lot of the pros on Speedplays using the SIDI carbon sole protector with their cleats. Personally I find the feeling becomes really 'icy' if you have lots of float. Works well enough though. (If anybody needs the 3 hole baseplates because theirs are worn, PM me).
@hippy your C springs, do they wear out?
I think them wearing is the cause of my rocking cleats. Any experience of rocking.
Mine are wearing at a fast rate.
Think I'm going back to shimano soon. I just like to be able to walk with speedplay off the bike, it's useful.

Maybe my cleats aren't mounted FLAT.
