There's a definite difference between the clip-in feel on my older pedals. Newer pedals have a more solid 'click'. There's probably some movement on the older pedals but it's never been enough for me to worry about. I've broken a few C-springs. Speedplay reckon it's installation but I've installed them and Scherrit has installed them and they've still broken so I think Speedplay just need to make stronger shit. One thought is that the shoes are cheaper than my others and perhaps they deform more. Seems a bit far fetched though because there's alu adapter plates and shit under the cleat so I'd have to be bending that too.
@hippy your C springs, do they wear out?
I think them wearing is the cause of my rocking cleats. Any experience of rocking.
Mine are wearing at a fast rate.
Think I'm going back to shimano soon. I just like to be able to walk with speedplay off the bike, it's useful.

Maybe my cleats aren't mounted FLAT.
