The NCC (velodrome) cafe sells booze and has been showing all the recent cycling events.

So, this comes round again. Will anywhere show MSR? Or does anyone know of a pub with Eurosport and a landlord who may be willing to put it on? Does it clash with any balls on Sunday?

What about laptop and cheeky free wifi somewhere with nice beer?
-
• #58
My laptop is knackered battery dies almost immediately. I'm racing Sunday am and not 100% sure when i'll be back, but i'd well be game for that if you fancy it and can supply laptop?

It'd be my phone screen at best if I'm I.t. support I'm afraid!

Have just calcultaed that i'm unlikely to be back from my race before it finishes anyway. Any news as to when waffa cafe is opening?

I'll be reccy-ing stage 3 of the tour of wessex and watching in 'The Cobblestones' Bridgwater. Do I win the award for 'most appropriately named establishment to watch P-R'... I think so :)

"Visit Look Mum No Hands, a cafe in Clerkenwell. They are showing live on a big screen. Be sure to bring a Stussy T-shirt and a 1970s cycling cap to fit in."
Admitantly a 2007 comment from another bike forum, but all the same what are the other London venues which will broadcast the race???

12 Higher Chatham Street, Manchester M15 6EDI was on my own though, so not all that

Did you request they put it on, or was it on already? Not sure what places will put cycling on if it clashes with e.g. football, unless there's no-one there! (except the velodrome cafe, and presumably Rapha) Anyone have suggestions? (in MANCHESTER. London>>>>>>>)

Yeah the boozer was empty and the football was on, I asked politely if the channel could be turned over for the cycling of what was no problem
I guess if you have ten cycling fans over two football fans you'll win? :P

At £4 per month for Eurosport Player gonna watch P-R 2015 at home I reckon.

Ive heard The Footage, Grosvenor Street, Manchester M1 7DZ is good for sport on the big screen as they have many TV monitors, so you can have different channels on at the same time
I couldn't be mithered walking another 100 yards though on Sunday and Ive never really like that boozer though the ale is cheap

Not my bag, but this was on bbc news site, weird, a race interrupted by a level crossing?
-
• #70
Has happened many times in the race. Wouldn't argue with a train myself.
-

I've decided the best place to watch is in France, preferably with some gregarious Norwegians with a fondness for Belgian beer and expensive equipment to follow the race on once it whizzes past.

Alright people!
If you're looking for a place to watch live cycling in Manchester the Rapha Cycle Club shows it all. Good Coffee, local beer, bike storage and a decent atmosphere when the racings on.
Well?
