Tubs are brilliant on..... a tubular rim. Which is almost always lighter than a clincher rim. Really don't understand the thinking on these. Plus Tufos, in my experience, ride like a sack of shit compared to a good tub, or even an average tub. Plus they have some of the highest rolling resistance of any tubular. Oh, and their self seal compound that supposedly makes up for their non-repairability doesn't work either.
