Yeh Joss the frame was collecting dust in my room so I stripped down my charge and built it up

How does NJS exports work, found a TT damaged frame I like.
What quality of tubing to expect on something like this (£250 GBP + shipping), listing doesn't say but assume its not gas pipe, but maybe entry level Columbus or do Ishiwata still make tubes? Its from 2005 so been around a bit longer than most!

to avoid shipping fees and customs, may be you could find someone here selling njs frame in your size?
-
• #308
There are a few about... what size are you?
-
• #309
that frame is 52.5cm centre to top, so i guess he could ride anything from 51 to 54cm.

Hmmm... Patrick's old Makino is for sale again...

What bars please?
-
• #314
Yeah thats a point, once shipped and fees its knocking on the door of £400 which for a damaged frame, no matter how much orange sparkle it has, is too much. Under £200 for that sort of thing would float my boat though, £400 would buy me something euro and sexy.
Up in Glasgow so only a small amount of NJS here, it also doesn't have the tax, Zens for fiver, and nitto njs stems for tenner at jumbles round here (because just old school stem no).

@maro_donald Thanks. This is by far my most versatile bike, it's been built up for many different roles over the years and never fails to put a smile on my face.
@M80 I can't believe no-one took that beauty off your hands, though maybe that's a blessing in disguise!
@B0N0R I'm envious of your Salsa stem.
@bankiren Are the woundups on the pink Maeda these days?
I like how this thread went from pristine builds to filthy rats in a matter of days.
