Looks like Juan Carlos is coming for the Supercross in April, he's just asked if we can recommend a couple of hotels nearby. I have no idea hoping you may be able to give a steer, nothing to expensive.

Cool, if he looks on Premier Inn or Travelodge for places near M11 4DQ to start. If he can room with another rider it'd work out cheaper. His team manager might get some info through about hotels etc as I think the event recommends some?

Cheers I'm pretty sure the whole team will be staying at the same place and are just looking for a steer on where to go.
I'll get my Google skills out and see what I can do.

I think he arrives on Monday I need to confirm this afternoon. I've got his cousin my other nephew staying with us so I hope we'll get up next Friday.

Where do you live Citron? I'm fairly sure he'd get a warm welcome at Peckham BMX track http://www.peckhambmx.co.uk/track-info/.

Peckham obvs not on scale of Manchester but they are hosting a round of the British BMX Series later this year - and they've got a pro's only section...

@althecoach is a coach there - might be worth PM'ing him?

The Olympic track is much bigger than Peckham but also pricier (Peckham is free!) and all manner of beaucracy to contend with.

Btw - the link to Peckham track doesn't look like the track has that many open sessions but there are more than it looks like, honest!

Am told I missed Colombia (and Australia with NZ) at the outdoor track yesterday.

Spent more time with USA today, including catching the moment Alise Post got the gate a bit wrong....

Brasil came later but I'd gone by then. Fri training session at indoor will be huge!

I'm in Manchester and already hella excited to have seen some of the German ladies staying in our hotel.
