I can't wrap my head around that plastic bag.
That person carries a not-light U-lock, locks it to the seat post touching the bicycle stand, and then gets out a plastic bag and ties it from lock to stand?
This can't be. Maybe the bag is only tied to the top tube and lock, and the person didn't want to spend a minute unlocking the bag and re-locking to stand.
What the hell.

Probably forgot/lost the key and wanted to make it look like it was locked up as best they could.

I think the plastic bags to stop the lock getting in the way when they pedal

Isn't there a cable lock holding the seat tube and tree?
-
• #4036
Yep, but in locking the front wheel to nothing but itself they will only loose wheel and lock, rather than just their wheel. Perhaps "how not to lock your wheel" would be more appropriate.

Saw 14 Bike Co near Westminster Uni slackly locked downtube only with a Abus cable lock to a lampost that had a tiny parking warning sign. You could just lift the whole thing over and ride away.

@keanulooser, people must be looking at you very suspiciously when you take pictures of bicycles on the street.

Pictures from places other than London shouldn't count here.

Don't get sassy. Most of those bikes will still be there when the owner gets back.
In London... nnnatsomuch.
