• Training Peaks shows it.

  • It also doesn't matter.

  • But, NUMBERS?!?!?!??!!!!

  • Doesn't matter

  • ok, if it doesnt matter thats fine then, just thought 46/54 was quite extreme?

  • You already said p2m isn't actual left/right.
And no it's not extreme. Everyone will have an imbalance. That often levels out when making a steady effort.

  • I suggest pedalling one legged.

  • TrainingPeaks will show it. Dotted pink link on the ride graph.

  • A club mate has just received a 4iiii PM via their crank exchange program, total cost shipped to the UK about £200.

Will post up their review, believe they have a Vector for an easy comparison. Although DC Rainmaker will likely have his too.

  • What crank did they use?

  • Anybody done a DIY replacement on an SRM battery?

  • Yes very easy.

  • Dicking around with chainrings this morning and managed to accidentally release the back cover on my SRM (sram).

OK, fine, bit scary - cleaned everything up, applied a spot of grease to seals and clipped it back in.

There's a small gap that I can't seem to close around the circumference of the inner seal. There's no 'clip' action when its pressed, as if it just rests on the inner o-ring.

Normal? Anyone have a 130bcd SRAM SRM I can compare with?

  • The chain rings secure the back cover on.
    Just out the chainrings on.

  • avg was 47/53 over 50 miles

out the saddle efforts were 50/50

  • Move your phone to the middle Jersey pocket

  • Not related to power, but wasn't sure where else to ask. I was chatting to Scherrit on Saturday and he mentioned Heart Rate Variability (HRV) as something worth looking into with regards to managing training load and recovery and the role life stress plays in that.

Does anyone here have any experience of using it?

  • When I fecked my left leg my P2M showed me favouring it heavily. Turns out I pulled up a lot with my right. Found it kinda useful.

  • HRV

Fairly recent discussion the HR Thread

  • Much obliged, I'd not noticed that thread.

  • When I fecked my left leg my P2M showed me favouring it heavily. Turns out I pulled up a lot with my right. Found it kinda useful.

I've got a minor tear to the meniscus in the back of my right knee, was expecting me to favour my left. Maybe its all those single legged squats I've been prescribed..

  • Pulling up with my right to reduce the work of my left. Leads to a high left reading with a P2M. It uses the inbuilt accelerometer to determine where the pedals are, and assumes power is being provided by the one going down.

  • Did my first outdoor FTP test for 2015 yesterday. My FTP for the core of last season was 280w. I managed to hold 283w for 20mins. So not amazing. But as I've been off with injury, and conditions were not exactly ideal. Its better than expected. Its also very early in the season up here. So could be a good starting point for my 300w/75kg goal. I was 77.5kg after I'd fully hydrated that day.

Also. At point where I got injured. My TSB hit -116. So if I hadn't broke, I'd have died anyway I think. Really should check my PMC more often........

  • 80kg this morning, you are going to vanish into the distance in June. I think I am going to focus on enjoying the scenery this year.

  • Dont worry.

My Achilles will snap like an ancient dried up elastic band if I attempt to push the run.

I should try joining the roller skiers instead. Bike - roller ski - BBQ. The champions tri.
