mm nice, congrats
Any opinions on MWC's? I like that they're tool watches rather than man-bracelets for status and something I could wear everyday. Bearing in mind I'm a student and already own an SKX007.

I had an MWC recently, the chrono mk3, but the quality didn't feel great so i moved it on. Fairly decent for the money though i 'suppose? which model you looking at?

nice looking watch but seems like a lot of money and it's pretty huge at 43
i have a little marathon watch with GLTS and if i'm honest it's not as bright as i hoped, i'd want to see one in the flesh before i committed, also they go on eBay direct from the manufacturer regularly at heavily discounted prices (although i've never seen that one)t

No. It's a classic Thai / Indian Heinz 57 and a complete hodgepodge of parts. You only have to look at the difference in colour of lume between the face, hour and minute hands, and second hand to see it's been cobbled together. Plus the fact that the second hand isn't even from that model.
Old truism. If something seems too good to be true it probably is.

Thanks t, I'll keep an eye out on T'Bay and maybe go for the £225 version without GLTS, and i didnt realise it was that big, hmm more thinking to be done.
I'm in Bangkok in the summer so I might pick up an AP Royal Oak copy for the bantz.
Long term I love the new blue-as-hell Pelagos and in the very long term I'd love me a Milgauss cos i do Physics and because /magnets. -

its a 60th birthday present so maybe a mans watch might look weird?
Any suggestions for a nice ladies watch for around 500? I was thinking something elegant but suitable for everyday wear. -
• #15875
Or is there somewhere she could pick.out a nice watch? I was thinking Hatton Gardens? Is that going to be v overpriced?
I want an explorer now.
