Thanks for the offer mate. I'm expecting a 100mm -17 Bontrager stem to arrive from ebay this week. Will need a shim though, I need to check with my LBS first. Also, my choices have been limited due to me wanting to stick with my spotter bars for that authentic "old sized everything" kinda build. 26 bars, 1" steerer, 25mm seatpost...
I've got a feeling I might need to go to 110mm though and I would like a glossy finish to match the other components. I haven't found anything that ticks all those boxes yet though...
