  • cheers, I'll try and get some approximate prices - the issue with 3d printing metal is that it has a rough grainy surface so I'm not sure if this will cause the same issue as the pitting. It can be hand polished but increases the price considerably. Printed titanium is also an option which can be polished smooth but again the price is likely to be high!

    Ill get rough price and let you know , if anyone wants to give it a go, then if Scilly is happy to post me one I can draw it up more accurately

    The other option is to find a local metal machinist and see if they can just knock some out by CNC?

    The pits are caused by wear from the spring impacting the ring as the ratchet clicks around. This is as opposed to anything moving around the surface of the ring, so I can't see that it needs to be particularly smooth.

    And yes I'm happy to let you have the ring.
