Look forward to the finished build!

720mm centre of BB to bottom of seat rail and 130mm stem same as the CX bike, was gonna give it a quick spin then the heavens opened here 😔
Can someone tell me if there's something missing from the caliper please? Something doesn't look right - barrel adjuster area
My other bikes are disc or canti so can't compare

That's already a bit better. But those wheels:(

usually the barrel adjuster has another circular piece underneath it for fine adjustments, but I don't think it really makes any difference not having it there
-

There is usually a lock-ring between the caliper arm and the head of the barrel adjuster.
You just tighten the ring up to the caliper arm to stop the barrel adjuster from moving with vibrations. If this one stays in place after a few rides, then I wouldn't worry about it. If it moves at all though then either find a tiny nut with the same threading, blue locktite it, or buy another barrel adjuster...Edit: Having said that, I just had a look and those calipers now use the spring-loaded adjusters, so who knows.

Hey,
Could you tell me what kind of fork that is, and what rims they are?
Thanks.

Oval t900, front looks like a Reynolds and rear looks like an HPlusson Formation Face
-

You stalking me?! ;0) Yep all spot on. The front wheel is a Reynolds MV32C.
Bike now all ready to roll, just need to tape the bars. Looks pretty gash with aero bars but the fit is very good. mm perfect compared to my now sold TT bike.
Toe overlap is considerable though which I expect will cause me issues given that this is obviously fixed. Must remember not to do tight turns.

with the nice weather we've had this week I've been commuting to work on my Vigorelli.
A winter of coming in on my road bike made me forget how much more fun this bike is.

Built up the Vig yesterday; 86 mile round trip including London Classic today. 46x16, a bit tough on those hills! but rides real nice on 25c tyres.
Chain is slack already :/

Strong work. Not sure my deriere could do half a ton on the mash...Stiff as a board. Mind you, diff geo etc

• #2668
Done several full tons on my Vig. Fine, even on shitty roads.

^same.
Can't say they were the most comfortable of rides but perfectly do-able.

I call it the Sensible and Obvious Mash Build. I am not totally pleased with the stem angle but I was having trouble tracking the right one down (looking for 90mm I think with zero degree rise) but didn't want to put off the whole build for one part. It is admittedly v comfortable at the moment as my back flexibilty doesn't quite yet allow for a 100mm length stem. It's super fun though. @HarveyBrown at CyclePS built the wheels for me and basically built the thing up for me (I helped some tho!). Soz for the iphone instagrammin'

Good stuff! Going to race it?
-
• #2673
I guess I could do! I'm just getting comfortable on the Moda though (which is important to me when group riding) but maybe some sunny Saturday for a bit of flash I'll take off the brake and give it a spin round...

What size is yours and how do you find the toe overlap? Cheers.
-
• #2675
It's a small. I've always had 52cm bikes tho so I'm used to toe-overlap. And anyway toe-overlap is sensationalised, it's not that big a deal in general.
same colour, same size
