how have you (and @dimi3) found these Clug things? I'm tempted...

You can have both of mine for the price, that is on the website minus 10% lfgss discount plus 50ish% in customs charges. I'll get the total once I get home tonight, if you or anyone else is interested. Otherwise they will be going back to the warehouse where they came from, somewhere in Canada.

I have recently had an Asgard metal garden shed installed. Very pleased so far, not bad value for money. And everything BOOOMS when you open the door or put a bike in etc. That should wake everyone up when the thieves strike. No condensation, I thought this was only a problem with older models, there is much ventage on mine(?)

Thanks, but I think it will work out cheaper for me to buy some from BLB direct!
Make sure you claim the import tax back when you return them...
-
• #407
I'm not paying anything, if I don't claim the package within 21 days it will be sent back.

Thought I'd chip in with a +1 for the Ikea Stolmen pole.
Opted for 4 hooks to hold the bikes, still need to get some old bar tape to line them. But a pretty nice solution for the new flat i've moved into, thinking of getting another pole for my roadie.
The photo is a bit wonky, its actually stood up straight after 20 minutes of tinkering. Sturdy. The bottom bike looks like it's on the floor, but it's 2 or 3 inches up.

Moving into a new flat and looks like girlfriend has decreed that bikes now live outside. I need to find a secure way of keeping them super safe with the least amount of space and not too expensive. I've had a look at the locker things you can get. Are they really that secure??

They are secure.
But I'm not sure she would enjoy sleeping in one.

I'm selling my brand never used Minoura DS-4000. Possibly the only one in the UK, as I asked Zyro to import it especially. Unfortunately it doesn't do it for me, as it only works with front wheels, I should have paid attention.
I also have two spare cradles ( 5 altogether) that I will throw in. I paid £126 for it, so would like about the same.

• #412
Haha that's not my problem. She brought it on herself.
-
• #414
Actually, dw. If I get 4 they give me a decent discount so i'll do that instead.

Just for the future reference, if anyone else wonders: I've paid for two hangers on 02/03 £27.12 and received a card through the door on 12/03. After 21 days of me not claiming back the package it will be sent back to the seller, which is any time now. The customs fee was £13.26. So that's like £40 for two plastic bits? No thanks.

• #416
hmmm, didn't think of the customs charge. Might do a price match with wiggle and get them from them.

I have two similar mounts like the one bellow, which are great, but they only hold bikes with shallow rims.
That's why I wanted a clug.
-
• #418
How shallow?
The 'crosser has 35mm rims on knobbly tyres. -
• #420
I have a variety of rims, was going to opt for something similar to that but couldn't find decent hooks that take a 88mm rim and 28 tyre. Will get clugs but from the uk.

^That's fucking rad! I wouldn't buy it though because I need to fit 4 bikes in a small area and that doesn't do that.

• #423
££? interested.

• #424
Also interested!

Looks like a nice design, with space for a bit of bike tat on it, too. I'm not in the market for one, either, but depending on price you'll probably shift a few on here.
yeah. I ordered the two separately to avoid this. Been burned on records too many times.
