(The dale stems are 6 deg.)
It's weird...do an image search for CAAD10 and some of them with 17 deg stems look great...and some look like the front end is drooping (like the evo you posted).
I suspect the smaller sizes look better with 17.

I suspect that it's due to the top tube angle staying relatively similar but the head tube angle decreasing for smaller sizes meaning the stem gets brought up and becomes less droopy

Yeah that's probably it.
Probably helps if the background they are shot against doesn't have horizontal lines, either :)
Might take a punt on 6.

Here is mine how it stands.

Mines -17, and a 48cm as below:
I think it works well with a -10, not much choice, this is with a Pro stem:

I think that frame size should go to 650c wheels tbh.

I'd agree, but very few manufacturers do nice 650c other than tri bikes.
One day I'll get a custom steel aero bike, possibly with 650c wheels, but until then, massive toe overlap for me!

My old colleague found that the -12 Bontrager stem is a perfect angle on the CAAD10, match the slop quite well (BTW the red is BRIGHT, Picture really doesn't do justice at how bright it is).

would anyone be interested in this 2008 supersix frameset?
it is a 58, comes with everything that you see on the pics - £450. if you only want f+f - £400.
i once spoke about a repaired supersix - this is NOT that one.rest of the pics: http://postimg.org/gallery/9z0m1hvw/

I want that very much, but then I'd have to buy hollowgrams and then I'd be bankrupt and it's probably a size too big anyway...

Spent some time fiddling with the CAAD10: re-aligned the gears, added a slightly larger 36cm loop, new bar tape, and adjusted the bar angle very slightly, all in prep for first ride tomorrow after months off the bike. Mainly an excuse to mess around with torque wrench and repair stand.
Have the low bearing cap to slam the stem. Might swap the Aliante for a lighter and black Antares, to look something like this:
Do want some deeper wheels, but the Ceramic Open Pro / Hope Pro 3's will do for now.

Hello everyone,
looking for some advice. Thinking about buying this Caad 10 frame (I think its a 2011 model). Comes ready to build for 380 Euro.
What do you guys think? Good price?
cheers

Not sure of a normal price but I paid £340 for my 2013 caad10. But there was quite a few scratches to the paint. Other than that though, good condition.
So not sure if I get a very good price or the one you are looking at is asking for too much.
What is the original degree?
