ladies showing the men (39 finishers) a bit of HTFU today, respect
-

Respect to the ladies, however it's 117km rather than 240km, i know some of the womens peloton would like this bringing more in line.
-
• #1555
yes, but the women's races are always shorter and the conditions were the same

Keep seeing stuff about that race that I missed; Paolini crashed hard enough to snap his fork legs completely and just got up to wait for a bike swap.
EBH did his collarbone at some point. And seriously, what's up with Froome?

Rotten luck for EBH.
Froome's been ill, is it any surprise he's not in peak condition?

Already this year we've seen some bonkers, open racing and there's still so much to come. I pray Geraint can hold this form: arguably he's been the strongest of the lot so far, so many animating performances.

Is Kwiatowski down to race RVV?

Does anybody know who the Garmin rider is losing his shit at 1.47?

Mega isn't it? Is that a Lidl symbol on the bottle though? If so, shame on the organisers. I like Lidl but I'd want at least Sainsbury's own label fizz if I'd won.

The Garmin-Cannondale rider is Jack Bauer, no?
-

Thanks - that tops Ciolek's helmet throw at MSR by a mile.

Ciolek crashed on the descent from the Poggio. Helmet smash justified. Bauer fell off after getting his jacket caught in his rear wheel just after a feed station. Bike smash entirely unjustified. Ciolek wins, Bauer gets a stern talking to by team management.
