What's irritating about it? The 800 kills the 705 for usability. I've not tried an 810 or 1000 though.

810 is a world better than the 800. so much more responsive

skinny said much the same. I don't need one yet but I'll soon be unable to use my older Powertap LYCs it'll make sense to have a second bike/backup computer and an 810 makes sense.
