I'm definitely not obsessed. I like one model and it will be my next watch. That is all.

I now have two Rolexes that I need in my life... Prolly £9K worth...
Funny old world, innit? :$

I'd have never thought it, but I have a major boner for the new black/rose gold Yachtmaster.
I honestly think my interest in watches brings me more frustration than pleasure. It's weird, I have lots of expensive interests - bikes, cars, motorbikes, guitars, hi-fi, cameras. All of those have gear and stuff that's just as desirable and just as out of reach as expensive watches, but not being able to buy them doesn't nearly bug me like it does with watches.

I love the Ressence watches - good to follow on IG

Ok thanks - I was tempted to put it on finance at around £70 per month 0% but I backed out. It will happen though

Really tempted to shell out on a 114270 since they've been discontinued - think prices are going to skyrocket soon.

Cheaper end of the market, Speedbird GMT http://www.timefactors.com/speedbird.htm
I've been pondering one of these for a while but still undecided.
I seem to remember that either Ball or Baume & Mercier had some nice GMT watches when I was looking previously. Possibly the Ball engineer or something but can't quite remember and a quick google doesn't show anything that nice.

Speedbird!

B&R

• #15664
I think I was actually thinking of Bell & Ross, not Ball or Baume & Mercier.
-
• #15665
I actually rather like that.
-
• #15666
Best B+R were made by Sinn imo. B-)
-
• #15667
If we're venturing into Sinn GMTs, or dual time zones, then although a dressier than the stuff posted so far, I really quite like the 6090.

• #15668
114270 > thats actually quite nice. What size is it? Is there anything bigger than tiny?
-
• #15669
dude... it's the Rolex Explorer.
114270 is the 36mm reference which is now discontinued.
214270 is the 39mm reference which is the current model.I am picking up the 39mm version in the next 6 weeks.

• #15670
You find a good deal on the 214270?
-
• #15671
Still waiting on a deal from a family member that will be in the region of 35% if it comes off.
If not, the cheapest I've found is probably only £200 off of list. If that's the case, i'll pay the minimum deposit, stick it on 3yr interest free and put the rest back into savings / investments.

• #15672
Good stuff, good luck with it! I've found an unworn new old stock 2004 (hologram still on the back, full kit) 114270 for a smidge over 3k. Am tempted...

Alright, its definitely going. PM me if interested @hudsoncjnr, @root, @Tenderloin, anyone else, unless you all think I'm on crack asking for £120.
Not wishing to piss everyone off, if this should be in Classifieds then bring on the chevrons.
