Hell of the North (London)

Yeah - the Classic finished to watch Flanders LY, but they're both on Roubaix day TY which is a shame - my 2 favourite rides.

Such a great ride - sad to be missing it, but only because i'm doing the real thing!

How was the course on previous years? Many hills?

I've most of the route on 23's at 80psi. Some sections are easier than others but the tougher ones are pretty damn sketchy with skinny tyres, you've really got to pick your line. Ideally I would want 28's minimum with some tread on them.

@dbr don't do it on a cross bike, it will really slow you down on all the road sections. Sumo is right a road bike with 25 or 28 tyres would be fine. Plastic would be ok I reckon but don't sue me if it cracks in half...

Well done to everyone who got a space, 300 tickets in 5 minutes is just ridiculous.
