Spoons are amazing as @jdp has pointed out; you could always go for a charge knife, which is a slimmed down, ti railed version of the spoon. I know @benjaminbunny had one of these for sale that he might be so kind as to lend you

Popped some risers on the Focale, need some bigger tyres, spinnier gear and possibly a rack and she's sorted. Now to find some 6600 shifters, pop the piegas on the Genesis and build it up as a proper Road bike
