The some of the POC helmets include MIPS which is meant to reduce the chance of a torsional injury to neck or brain.

The irony here being I've never actually purchased a helmet based on its safety claims.
1. Black
2. Fits
3. Um.. dunno.. some arbitrary measure I can use to separate candidates, weight, cost, vents..

I have a 2 Catlike whispers so don't need a new road helmet, but I have the POC MIPS mtb helmet, by far the comfiest helmet I have worn. When my Catlikes give up the ghost I would definitely ensure my next road helmet has MIPS too, both for comfort and the extra safety.
