  • 62km out and back into the Kent lanes.
    Layhams, Heisers, Beddlestead, Downe then back.
    5kph slower than the end of last summer. 1kph slower for every excess kg I'm carrying.
    Have 5kg extra weight (the dreaded visceral fat) that I need to shake.
    Forgot overshoes, freezing feet but the extra fat was surprisingly good at keeping me warm.
    7/10 would ride again. Lanes in great condition. Getting my mojo back.
