I did an audax of the 200k variety. Good chats with a super-diverse bunch of people. The tandem ridden by an argumentative Gordie and Dutchman was entertaining.
Ate 'nuff cake. Actually I didn't eat enough cake for the bit between 180-190k (where I completely hit the wall only to be rescued by a caffeine gel and some HTFU).
I noticed someone had dropped their Co-codamol at the first control so yeah, amateur doping has reached UK audax. Scumbags!
