  • It's a boomerang.

  • There is also a Tour Boro frame available on:
    http://brooklynmachineworks.com/products/tour-boro

Designed around the street save geometry of the Gangster Track

    $950

  • the brooklyn machine works are working on a third generation Gangster now but it will be a while till they are available...

  • Wrote them an e-mail about gangsta frames. Got a reply that they are sold out in most of the places and wrote about the info above..

  • There is also a Tour Boro frame available on:
    brooklynmachineworks.com/products/tour-boro

It's going to be a major pain if you get a rear puncture.

  • the tour boro looks kinda stupid with those gear hangers, also quite heavy for a road bike and who else needs the custer fork for touring? don't get it.

  • The cluster fork is way too stiff to Wanna tour with!

  • Nobody is forcing you to use Cluster fork, if you don't want to, I really don't see what is the problem here.
I found Gangsta is a perfect commuter, and something like Tour Boro would be tempting as a touring bike with a nice CX carbon fork of choice.

Seems like people come here to moan how much they hate BMW. Don't like it? Look away! Plenty of threads/bikes to bitch about.

  • tetchy much...

  • I'm still waiting for someone to start Brockley Machine Works. With all the demand on here, it seems like a no-brainer. :)

  • i reckon this looks like it's be more fun as a street bike than a brklss gangsta

  • Probably worth noting too that the frame is not actually supplied with the mech hanger attachment - you could just run it single speed with a singleator.
I don't think the bike looks that great but it'd probably be fun to ride and certainly a little more robust than a similar offering from another brand.

  • It's got track ends though so you wouldn't need a singleator. I think it's pretty cool and I'll probably end up building something similar.

  • yep no need for singleator with the track ends. looks good as potential do it ALL frame

  • there seems to be one mount for mudguards near the track ends but no rack mounts anywhere. Is it for backpack track bike touring?

  • I love some of the BMW stuff but thats just a heavy hybrid.

Interested to see gangsta v3 though

  • I was more referring to the fact it has 135mm rear spacing

  • @B0N0R nothing is funner than a brklss gangsta

  • @B0N0R nothing is funner than a brklss gangsta

i live in a world of coast rn

  • Dibs Panasonic then

  • this is just weird. i have no idea why would anyone buy a bmw hybrid.

all the good things about V1 are gone, made in brkln, V1 fork..

    also gone: RADNESS

  • they are maybe getting old at the shop in brooklin

  • I reckon they're just focusing a bit more on function. You look at that frame and think about one of their main riders, Austin Horse; his is modified so it can do tours, sscx, brakeless, the lot. This, in terms of function and do it-allness reminds me of the new cinelli steel bike
