How bad is a mtb BB7 with a road lever going to be?

Will have some of those tektro drop-v levers going spare and cheap in a week or two if it's for curlywurly bars...

Cheers for the offer but I have actually decided to go change the fork back to one with canti and lowrider mounts so just using a canti on the front which goes with the levers.
