Only as long as they wanted to be.

Two free weekends before CL games could prove to be a master stroke as we might be the only English team still in the CL and, with Everton, the only English side in Europe, very soon. Arsenal, Man City, Tottenham and Liverpool have paid the price of trying to win trophies on every front. A more focused approach is certainly working at present.

Oh, so that capitulation at home when you were 2 goals up against a League One side was Chelsea contributing to the magic of the cup? Jose is such a romantic.
