7th April so we have a nice break. Frustrating not to go through but they will need to attack us there so should hopefully get the job done

Gonna watch motd tonight to see the goals, but Kane keeps putting the chances away, though lloris may have been our man of the match. After two dispiriting losses, we've won two back to back and are still in with a shout of the champions league places.

Hoping Kane goes to the U21 tournament in the summer and helps the kids win something. Lots of articles about how other nations youth teams have gone on to provide the back bone of tournament winning teams in the future, so it's something England should be taking seriously.

If you spent any time reading my posts, instead of rewording second hand opinions from the Guardian, you'd see that I'm not "unremittingly pessimistic". I just don't produce the same level of vanilla hyperbole that you do. Any idiot can write:

Pitch invasion was stupid during the game, but just shows the passion and relief at the team final showing some guts. Crazy scheduling an evening kick off in a derby game like that - as Pulis said, it was aloways goign to be a bit 'tasty'. Baggies ripping out seats and chucking them down on the Villa fans was far worse. Both clubs deserve a fine.

If we get a couple more results against Sunderland and Swansea, I might even start revising my view of Sherwood. I'm already enjoying his patronising comments and though I wouldn't pick the team he's playing, it seems to be working so far, so I'll take that.
