Reported to Roadsafe for what it's worth... "From the cycle path across Finsbury Park, I joined Seven Sisters Road at the ASL box heading East. The traffic lights were red. When they changed to green I pulled off and crossed the Manor house junction heading east down Seven Sisters Road. The silver Mercedes described above drove behind me sounding it's horn, and then drew alongside as I entered the bus lane. The passenger window of the car was open, and the driver was shouting at me that I should get out of the way. I told him to leave me alone*, but he became increasingly agitated; swearing and abusive, driving parallel to me shouting that I should pull over and threatening to hit me. I continued cycling and he on 2-3 occasions swerved towards me. When the bus lane ended he then drove behind me sounding the horn in an aggressive and intimidating manor. I cycled through a red light at an empty pedestrian crossing in order to get away from him, and was able to continue past stationary traffic further along Seven sisters road to get to safety".
*flicked him the bird, and when he persisted spat a gobful of phlegm right threw his window.
