• Anyone want my Rotor Power before it goes on ebay?

Its the double sided model, worked perfectly since new, recently had new batetries - 172.5 x 130bcd £550?

I've packed in racing now so Power is not needed for my style of riding.

  • You're ugly and heavy. :P

    Stages users >>>

My PT is well sexeh but will soon be covered so it's a moot point anyway. As for weight, they're lighter than P2M and DA hub so it ain't that. As for tri bikes, I don't bow down to any UCI bullshit and faster at high yaw angles thankyouplease.

  • If you SLVLSS then yes. TP calculates runTSS and swimTSS which are (I think) based on your pace/hr data. Quite how reliable these metrics are, I'm not sure but if when I bulk import files into GC, it always trips over non-cycling workouts.

  • Even if non-SLVLSS and enjoy running it's useful to use a service that tracks this alongside cycling.

  • Actually, TP allows you to track loads of stuff:

  • Not that TSS is the be all and end all, but I don't believe it calculates TSS for other activities beyond swim bike and run, but yeah, useful to record other stuff and you could self guestimate TSS if you really wanted to.

  • I'll give TP a shot. Dabble with GC, but it's complexities and sheer power sometimes feels really awkward. Like what @miro_o said. I might bother to sit down and watch a whole load of youtube videos about it.

  • Haha that Day off button.

  • Its quite Nice to chuck in activities like weight training. I dont add TSS for these Things. But like to have it noted Down.

You can track weight too. Which is my NeXT plan.

I find it very simple to use.

  • I use WKO+ and find GC too cumbersome. I make do with it for its Aerolab and use it for downloads on training camps as it's what I run on my laptop whereas WKO is home base only kind of thing.

  • Important. Well it is to my coach.

  • I add Strength sessions and Days Off. I also do shit like set duplicates (if I'm running LYC and Garmin on the same ride) to Rowing, so they can be filtered out of all the charts.

    #becausepro

  • I add strength sessions in with an estimate of TSS from HR (felt like a burk wearing an HR strap for a workout in the gym, but whatevs.

  • My weight sessions are upper body and add little general Fitness. So arent really relevant to my TSS total.

  • I don't think mine do a great deal for aerobic fitness - but they very definitely contribute toward fatigue.

  • I think it's Berk.
    from Berkshire Hunt.

  • Unless it's Burk.
    From Burkina Faso.

    (rhymes, sort of, with asshole)

  • Can anyone who ordered a P2M recently tell me their order date and subsequent delivery date? I realised today it's just less than 2 weeks before I go to Mallorca and would quite like mine before I head off...

  • I ordered monday and they said dispatch in the week commencing the 9th.

    So you might be okay...

    @croft

  • About two and a half weeks. They're very helpful via email though, so probably worth a pleading email to see if anything is possible to speed up the process.

  • 15 days for me

  • Cheers gents. Off on the 21st I reckon it'll be cutting it too fine sadly.

  • Can all of that be done on the free version of TP, or do you need the premium version?

One thing I don't like about Strava (or GC) is that I don't get running and swimming fatigue taken into account to how knackered I'm feeling.

  • Unless things have changed...

TP free allows you to record everything, with TSS, hrTSS and all the other metrics you have the ability to capture.

What it won't do is let you plan workouts in your Calendar and see prediction plotted for your ATL, CTL and TSB, neither will Golden Cheetah AFAIK.

  • I have a premium TP account and so I cant remember what is available on the free version of TP but I have a suspicion that you don't get the performance management chart (the chart that records effort fatigue, 'fitness' etc.) on the free version.
