Bike fit / correct riding position

I found it incredibly uncomfortable, which is why I switched to an Adamo which relieves the pressure on the sensitive areas. Split nose saddle use is way more prevalent in amateur TT'ing than in the pro ranks, dunno why more pros don't use them tbh. Sponsorship I suppose.

Excuse my stupidity - had a Specialized BG bike fit recently and this is my current fit:

Saddle height (BB centre to centre of saddle): 770mm
Saddle fore/aft (saddle nose in relation to BB centre): 85mm aft
Reach (saddle nose to bar centre): 560mm
Effective reach (saddle nose to hood centre): 700mm
Drop (saddle top to bar centre): 75mm (although you have dropped two spacers since) [this takes it to 85mm I guess as the spacer is 10mm]

So how do I go about translating this to a common geo chart - say the one for the Genesis Zero:

Just trying to make sure I understand what stack and reach etc to look for when shopping around - I know there is fine tuning to be done with spacers and stems, so I guess it's just a case of getting the closest to ideal and then dialling it in...?

Can you visit a bike shop and do your measurements on the models you listed in the flesh?

By bar centre, do you mean where it clamp onto the stem?

Haha yeeeeah thought that might be the case. Mosquito stock the Zero so I could talk to them about it - not that I've been in there so I can't speak for how switched on they are. i think they are also stocked at Moore's Cycles in Twickenham - again, never been there either.

You don't need a salesperson, you need the actual bike (in whatever random size) and a measuring band + pencil&paper [and rattleCAD installed on your pc].

FYI, there is a 56cm Genesis zero .3 in Moores.

On the note of flexibility, I see an osteopath every so often (lifting heavy tends to pull things out of place...) and after my last visit sitting in the drops is comfy all the time instead of PM only and not when just awake and cycling to work.

TL:DR get yourself checked over every so often. Yes I do stretch 3-4 times a week and foam roll.

Okay, I've sat down and calculate it.

Saddle setback is useful, it allow me to find the BB to stem length, which is 475mm (85 - 560) up to bar center.

let stick with 475mm, as the stem is angled rather than horizontal.

For the stack (up to bar center);

770mm saddle height and the drop, 75mm, that give me 695mm.

stack with bar center - 695mm
reach with bar center - 475mm

Using this, I can't do it reverse but can put a bicycle geometry on it and it also show the stack with spacer and stem as well, (bottom on the purple section).

The Genesis in XL have (with 120mm stem as listed on their site);

Stack (with spacer and stem) - 694mm*
Reach (with spacer and stem) - 507mm*

*with 45mm of spacer headset and stem stack.
Bear in mind that all this calculation could easily be wrong as I'm a dreadful mathematician, but hopefully those who shine a little with math can easily correct it.

Ed now you have confused me. Just elucidate @Bezzin that he seems no dino and any longish frame should fit, even a Cannondale. If he wanted a Genesis he is not only stupid but did not do his homework as Mosquito have one of the more experienced bike fittings in London.
