Get round. enjoy it. Go faster next time. At a Parkrun there will always be someone to run with. Unless you are going sub 16.
@5awyr is that through overtraining and lowered immune system or just a general illness. I have been hammering multi vitamins in an effort to avoid illness in this marathon build up. Apart from one minor cold last week it seems to have work.
@HatBeard that's rubbish. Hope you recover well. Is there another week you can substitute it for in a couple of weeks time?
I'm on for 70 this week. Including two proper sessions. Tuesday did 5 miles at half marathon pace then 2 at marathon pace and last night did laps at Battersea park with a fast group of marathoners (I was dropped off the back going at 5:45 a mile).
Longest run of the build up this Sunday. 22 miles and testing the nutrition and water again.
