I'm just glad he didn't hit the dekk.

couldn't see properly? was that why he was flying all over the place? I only saw a short recap but straight and steady it did not look.

He didn't hold the line Peet. Wobbling all over the place :(

In other news, I currently hold (on behalf of LFGSS) the Bike Show Listeners' Hour Challenge by virtue of being the only person to post a distance so far. You'll be pleased to know it was on a 64 spoked wonky old track bike. 38.5km.

^ Good effort. When someone on a teetee biek beats it you can still claim the Bike Show Listeners' Althlete's Hour Challenge.

@Hefty I actually used aero bars for the first time ever - so much fun!
@Paramounted I went to the open session at the Lea Valley Velopark road track (42x13 fixed if you want to give it a crack) -

Not with aerobars he can't.

Good stuff laying down a decent distance.

Risers and aero bars. At least I can't be accused of having all the gear. Might even get 500m more out of her if I took off the mudguards.

I like it.
Kudos for the distance. I bet you'd have smashed 40km on something set up to be more speedy.

She could get a skinsuit that fits for that money.
He probably would have been on it if he'd done 17.1s rather than 17.0s, it's ~0.5kph difference (52.5 vs >52.9) or ~8w. He couldn't see properly so was flying out of turn 4 way too high too, pillock.
