So I ordered a bag from the states from a small company that a lot of us know fairly well, the bag I wanted is of a custom colour, a bit like what you can do with timbuk2... It arrived and it's not the colour I wanted, well same colour but totally different tone, like difference between bright red and crimson... and he got the custom design slightly wrong... Got a response from the bag maker and he gave me a casual sorry and told me to return the bag to their UK distributor without a mention of how he will refund me. Am I within my right to ask for a full refund using the same exchange rate as applied when I paid, inclusing postage, including the 3% PayPal handling fee, as well as the postage I now have to pay.
Alternatively, although the bag is of a different colour, it, nevertheless, is a nice bag and I have half a mind to ask for a partial refund for the disappointment...
There was no way he could have misunderstood te exact colour I wanted as gave me a specific example and mock up with the design...
I am going away next week and was looking forward to using this bag and if I had to return it, then I am left with my t level which would be too big for this trip...
