You can't have any kind of on-board display on a track bike, maybe it was that?

Nah, I'm sure he was talking about timing stuff on the track. Computers on the bike are definitely out.

Yeah I'm not sure. You can definitely have a computer behind the saddle and a coach with a tablet these days - I've got quite a good Android setup that I use for riders on the track.
