How very dare you! I was in the same pub (Assembly Rooms), handsoming it up to the max. Nice to drink a pub dry by 6pm though, wasn't it?
Was a good race, my bud was disappointed by being outside of the top 10 (about 18th), I was disappointed that the Brownlees weren't there (as had been promised by another mate), got a spot before the last downhill and had good fun cheering the last finishers round to the end.
Not anywhere near as muddy as previous years, and only 12km, but still gutted as having missed out on running.
You guys think about the mess you left - I'm the one who has to wash the dog every day after he rolls around in the schuck you left behind...

Had an absolute shocker on first lap. Couldn't get legs going and was getting passed by waves of people about a mile in. Managed to pull it round in second half. 251st.
How did you get on 5awyr?
So so muddy. And lots of undulations.
Then the pub we were in ran out of draught beers.
Good fun though. (at least the second lap).
