The problem for Campagnolo and all the Italian marquee brands is that the people who love them and still connect emotionally to their"golden age" have already all bought their last bikes.

With road biking being so trendy these days. Arent a New wave of full sleeve tatoo'd, beardy types Queuing up to put campy on their bikes. Its by far the most euro-cool groupset...../trollintrollintrollin.
Having totally dismantled and repaired a SR11 lever. I personally have a lot of respect for Campagnolo engineering.

Not yet, finally available to buy from Madison, going to see if I can fit them today at lunch.

You going to 11spd too?

Having never had to dismantle or repair a 6600 Ultegra lever. I personally have a lot of respect for Shimano engineering.

It's already running 11 speed, got a mix 105/Dura Ace groupset on it.

Who said that Shimano chainsets are ugly? Dura Ace 9000 is by far the best of the current generation (the four arm Campag chainsets are fucking awful). Ultegra is nice but a bit dull, however having (quite) recently gone from Campag SR to Ultegra, the Shimano shifting is just better. It's more reliable and needs less maintenance.

Ribble are doing Dura Ace for £920.

just realised that I cant shift to the 11th (32t) cog on my 5800 groupset .. what am I doing wrong? Followed the instructions but I feel like I am missing something simple/stupid ..
-
• #4041
What do you have a 32t on you tourer, you.
-
• #4042
made a mistake and bought 11-32 without realising that there as 18t in 11-28 as well :(
-
• #4043
Does the chain attempt to move up when you shift? Do you have a short or medium cage mech?
-
• #4044
med cage and it shifts flawlessly till the 10th cog ..

• #4045
Sounds like your lower limit screw adjuster needs some refinement.
-
• #4046
Will try when I go home .. I'll just take the cable off and start again according to the manual

• #4047
Dick around with the b screw too, yo.

moving my ultegra 6700 levers across to new bike. fucking right shifter ratchet has just stopped working. has anyone tried to dismantle the ratchet system? it seems really hard to get in there. im thinking something is caught or the spring has just died. if i can find the cause of the issue I might be able to get away with replacing a small part from a crashed lever on ebay or something

• #4049
Is there? Document said 17-19-21 On the 11-28.
Like other said, derailleur limiter, don't touch cable just loosen the L screw a bit.

got new sram force 22 set up, bike shop got it all set up with no issues . Seems to be working perfectly, shifts smoothly on the front no mater what gear you are in at the back. Cross chaining for lazyness with no trimming.
Maybe slight rubbing on lowest gear/ big ring combo, might have a bit of a tweak
I am trolling.
But Shimano is the best so I'm also offering great advice to the thread question.
So does that mean it's not trolling?
