Enjoyable day with loads of friendly faces, It ended early for me at 150k was suffering with bad cramp from after the first hill after lunch and then managed to lose my front wheel on some mud and wipe out, got to Wye still cramping and with now bashed up knees and elbows decided to pack and head to Ashford.
I had an upset stomach the day/night before so assume it was probably dehydration, but could be any number of things including fitness. Prior to this my longest ride since end of November was 50 miles!
I spoke to Hippy briefly at the control at 120k I imagine your 20 is in the bag rive.
LOL is my next booked going to get some serious miles in between now and then.
Sorry I didn't recognise you straight away - it was one of those "I know your face but from where?" kind of moments. I know what you mean about the hill right after that control - how rude!
