Rough texture at the front and smooth further on
Is that the right way around? I thought you wanted a super smooth surface on the front half where the flow is attached, then a roughening midway to delay detachment. Ask @xavierdisley about trip placement :-)
Brian szykowny, who works for Specialized on one-off PR bikes, has been working on a Shiv project that is based on the airflow diagrams from wind tunnel testing.
There are photos on Chris Riekerts Instagram. Looks pretty cool. They are calling it the FlowShiv.
