First P2M battery change doned.
Should have been loads easier. The ridiculously over built BB area on my frame meant needing to pull the cranks out. Plus I have no idea of how to safely remove the rubber bungs protecting the screws. I tried needle nose pliers and tore one. It seems gripping With Your finger Nails, and pulling till Your eyes water, is the only way. Managed to get the O-ring to sit nicely when replacing the cover though. Spent ages faffing With that the first time.
I've been carrying a spare battery in my jersey Pocket tool kit. I cant say I really fancy doing this by the side of the road. I may resort instead to chucking a New one in before a holiday, or each season start.
