I assume most of the big networks still sell them, they just don't advertise it on their websites.
What they seem to advertise these days is a package of included calls/texts/data you can get on PAYG by always topping up a certain minimum amount per month. If you don't do any top ups, you just miss out on any of those bundles, so you literally PAYG for everything at quite high rates. That's fine for me as my PAYG is my jersey pocket phone, it's only there for emergencies, but if you start using it regularly to fill holes in your main SIM coverage, you're likely to find a cheap SIM-only contract soon starts to look better value.
