• Because metric is better.

  • oh why has someone changed the oneyeartimetrial strava disply units to metric???!

    Do you have an account?

  • fuck you! ... imperially..

  • hmm, what? yes, hence the 50% more mouseclisck..

  • No Bike Show for ages and then three episodes in a matter of weeks. Great stuff.
Listened to this one this morning. Loved Steve's description of a 'relaxing year' in 2014 and how he'd once done a 600k, finished early so did a 200k the following day and finished before the last person who'd finished the 600.
    Phew.

  • Not bad :)

  • Big ring Tarzan?

  • oh why has someone changed the oneyeartimetrial strava disply units to metric???!>

Well I think Steven will prefer metric, him being a audaxer, also were in Europe, not the U.S.

  • ^^^ amusingly that was apparently taken a couple of weeks before Kurt's HAMR began; it is also the bike that suffered a snapped seat stay a couple of days ago...

  • Thanks for that. Tis indeed a good one

  • Thursday 12th Feb - 200.2 mi, 15:14:29 h, 5,436 ft

    Friday 13th Feb - 188.7 mi, 14:50:52 h, 3,743 ft

    cumulative - 8,231.4 mi, 27:16:28:04 d, 235,473 ft

  • Is Kurt publishing his mileage? We should have a graph of both...

  • There's one on the tracking site:
    http://trackleaders.com/oneyeartimetrial15

He's at 7372 miles- but the tracking site seems behind with Steve: 7563.5 miles
    So who actually knows.
Oh and Kurt has quite a few subtractions per day for non-cycling distances.

  • I made one that shows mileage vs days completed (as opposed to date)... I'll post it when I'm on the computer.

  • Here you go... the same chart twice. The first shows accumulated mileage (from Hoppo's spreadsheet) vs days completed so far. The second shows the same information in the context of the whole year.

  • Wowzers! Big day from Kurt... 423km (262miles)

  • Steve's journey so far:-

  • He'll know every road in England by the time he's done...

  • I like the way he avoids Wales.

  • What day, time and time zone did Tarzan start the attempt on?
