I'm looking to swap from bullhorns to risers. I'm thinking these atm but looking at/for other 31.8mm options(has to be that for stem/garmin/camera mounts). But yeah feeling rather uninspired atm and just can't seem to find something that fits.

Doesn't matter, all three of them got a large enough platform, and those fishing bag come in a wide varity of sizes and shapes.

^^ I've got those on a (mostly) universally despised mini velo, works fine in this guise.

I use a Cinelli Pepper on on my everyday bike and I can recommend it. Perfect width and form (for me) and nice understated looks.

I'm looking for a list of watches that provide heart rate monitoring without using a chest strap.
What have people seen or used?
Was the watch any good?Thanks.

I just picked up some old Nike system ultra mtb shoes.
I thought the purple area on the sol unit would 'pop' out or something. but this is not the case. it looks like i will need to cut it out. does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing?
thanks!

Looking to trace a vehicle - have model & colour but no / partial registration number. possible without going to the ends of the earth?

I had a cheap watch which was just a watch and heart rate monitor, you touch finger to the bezel (is that the right word?)... Double was sweat set it off so any time I got a bit sweaty it would start beeping... Was really annoying.

Push a piler inside and yank it out.
Cut if it doesn't.

Yeah I've had to cut out cleat holes before, not with those particular shoes, but it's not uncommon.

My dearly beloved's Moto G has bricked itself, she didn't drop it or anything it just died... Bought in December 2013 from Tesco Direct, what are my rights? Does the EU 2 year warranty apply? Been on the phone to Tesco twice and they've very politely told me to get on my bike... TIA, J x

EU 2yr warranty should apply, but i think you may have to 'escalate' the call....

Depends on why it's died, if the battery is buggered that's in the exclusions as a disposable/expendable part and fair wear and tear. Apart from that it should be covered but will be a pain in the ass to get someone at tesco to listen.

Anyone? Or am I going to have trawl the car parks of West London to find the prick who tried to deck myself and the wife with his mucky white BMW X5 yesterday?

It's a mandrel, no?
-

It's a non-replaceable battery, no idea what's wrong with it tbh... I'll try @n3il's suggestion, exhausting tho'...

You're covered under SOGA and the 2 year rule.
Send them a letter demanding a refund / replacement. Inform the of your rights under the EU rule & SOGA.
If they don't play ball, you may have to make a claim in the county court (which may be a ball ache if you're leaving the country). You should write a complaint to the OFT & Trading Standards in any case.
If you bought it on credit - charge back on your credit card. They are held equally liable as the retailer.

What do you call one of those big metal contraptions that doctors use to hold pins in place if you need to have your leg pinned following a break?

"External fixator"?

Not being facetious - Report to the police might be your best bet, unless you had old testament justice in mind.
Oh I'm totally up for crashing into stuff... That's pretty much why I play polo.
