Rider Down is the only part of the forum to have zero tolerance rules.
You should know this, you've been here long enough.
Families and friends find Rider Down entries very quickly, and it is incredibly upsetting to them to have anything other than respectful posts in those threads.
All speculation, road traffic policy debate, "the rider was to blame", "the driver was to blame"... just absolutely anything that isn't, "that sucks, rest in peace rider"... is pretty much forbidden.
We keep it well-defined: reports, citations, messages of respect.
Your post-deviated from that, and I asked you to delete it or be banned from that part of the forum. You chose to reply and argue, I banned you from that area. Though you did manage to edit your prior post before I had finished banning you.
And you also chose to argue that the spirit of the forum somehow allowed you to be an arsehole in that part of the forum. I disagree, the spirit of the forum is that anyone who acts like an arsehole in that part of the forum gets an immediate reprimand and prevented from doing it again. Which is what happened.
You can sulk all you like, Rider Down is one part of the forum that has a zero tolerance policy for ass-hatery.
