Yeah don't do that - there's absolutely no good reason to given the removal tool is about £15 from ebay / Qwerty / Cannondale Spares etc. God knows why they don't ship the thing with them I don't know.
Or you can borrow one from me. Or use the mystery parts that Noblakes sent :)
