• I bought some E10s to replace my Denons and they are really bad for cycling with. I've tried all of the many buds they supply and can't get a good seal on any of them. I even used the ones off my old Denons that fitted perfectly but for some reason they don't give me a good sound or seal on the E10s. The wind is really pronounced when cycling or even just walking about in relatively windy weather.

I use Shure SRH940s for home listening and they are superb but not the sort of thing you'd walk around with. I wanted to get some decent over ear/on ear headphones for on-the-go that weren't too bass heavy so opted for V-Moda Xs. I tried on the over-ear ones (M100) in the States but they were too bassy and pronounced. I read the reviews for the XS version and it said they had a more refined sound but no one apart from Amazon stocks them so now way of trying them out.

I took a punt because they fold up to the size of a fist and come with a decent case. Was unsure about on-ear and noise isolation but they fit so well that this isn't a problem as long as you don't mind turning them up a bit. You get a bit of sound leak but in a noisy environment this isn't too much of an issue. The sound is superb as well and they are incredibly portable. Can't recommend them highly enough as on-the-go headphones.
