Surgical gloves as liners.

Surely you'll just end up with wrinkled fingers, like you've sat in the bath too long?

Yeah it sounds pretty bizarre. No doubt as wind proof as a bin liner ;)

May make more sense to just take the fingers only to stop the STI metal leeching heat.

BTW you don't need surgical silicon gloves, just mechanics/petrol-station gloves as a wind/waterproof layer.

It's a handy bodge.

What about wearing them on top?

Windproofing without the wrinkling!
