  • One thing Hestra do very well is liners. With merino Defeets their polartec liner was fine for 4hrs in 2-3° on Sunday.

    Surgical gloves do something but that's a bit desperate and sweaty.

    Those leather palm gloves @ChrisMGS posted look amazing... for throwing snowballs.

  • No. They're thin, smooth Polartec but other materials like silk are great too. The important thing is they're liners. And thin.

    No, the Defeets are a bit too thick and grippy to be good liners IMO.

    My hands don't get sweaty with the merino Defeats so I wear them whenever I can if there's going to be some work done.

    You'd think so, but it really kept my hand warm around 0 degrees yesterday.
