Tried these out under Gore Windstopper gloves, and they do help a bit, fingers were less cold. But I'm in the car today as it's under 0 with damp cold weather...windchill still an issue.

BTW in the category weird tips: Surgical gloves as liners. May try that, off to get another pair of gloves...

One thing Hestra do very well is liners. With merino Defeets their polartec liner was fine for 4hrs in 2-3° on Sunday.

Surgical gloves do something but that's a bit desperate and sweaty.

Those leather palm gloves @ChrisMGS posted look amazing... for throwing snowballs.

Are the liners windproof?

I'd have thought the DeFeet would be better as a liner: doesn't wearing them over something open up the weave and make them a bit breezy?
