Thanks. looking at the technical drawings from shimano I thought as much.
A bodge would be to file some mms off the axle tube and plug it with some other brands 20mm to 9mm converters.
But I'd probably die riding it.
To do it properly, you'd have to dismantle the bearing units and turn 5mm off each in a lathe. Plus a bit to clear the dropouts, since the fat stub probably wouldn't fit a QR fork. Far more trouble than it's worth.
